RANDSTAD in Belgium is seeking a Line Supervisor for a two-shift packaging operation. You will lead a motivated team, ensure machines run smoothly, and guarantee products are perfectly packaged for departure.

You will collaborate with the production manager and planning to maintain a fast-paced, high-tech environment. The role requires experience in production, leadership, flexibility for a fixed 2-shift system, and good command of English on the shop floor.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and guide the packaging process from start to finish to ensure efficient flow.
• Lead and motivate the packaging team on the floor.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and hygiene in the food sector.
• Quickly resolve operational issues and look for process improvements.
• Report progress, results and bottlenecks to the production manager.
• Coordinate packaging orders and streamline communication between production planning and storage.
• Assist with MES & ERP system rollout and daily use on the packaging floor.

As a Line Supervisor 2-shifts, you are the key figure in the packaging department. You lead a motivated team and ensure that the machines perform optimally and the final products leave the facility perfectly packaged. You work closely with the production manager and planning department in a clean, high-tech, and fast-paced work environment where no two days are the same.

Profiel

In the role of Line Supervisor 2-shifts, you carry the responsibility for the entire packaging process. Your concrete tasks include:

• Process Monitoring: You correctly start up and guide the packaging process from A to Z to guarantee an efficient flow.
• Team Leadership: You coordinate, motivate, and guide the team on the packaging floor.
• Quality & Hygiene: You ensure strict compliance with quality standards and hygiene regulations within the food sector.
• Problem Solving: You quickly resolve operational issues and malfunctions, and continuously look for process optimizations.
• Reporting: You report directly to the production manager regarding progress, results, and any bottlenecks.
• Communication & Planning: You check packaging orders and streamline communication between production planning and the storage of the finished product.
• Digitalization: You assist with the further rollout and everyday use of the MES & ERP systems on the packaging floor.

To be successful as a Line Supervisor 2-shifts or experienced packaging team leader, you recognize yourself in the following profile:

• Experience: You have experience within a production environment, ideally in the food industry.
• Leadership & Insight: You have technical insight and possess the natural ability to manage and motivate an operational team.
• Flexibility: You are a real go-getter with a flexible mindset who is happy to work in a fixed 2-shift system.
• Communication: You have a good command of the English language (for communication on the work floor).
• IT Skills: You have good computer skills and quickly pick up new software (such as ERP or MES).
