Job summary

ALTEN Group in Belgium is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Utilities to join its Life Sciences team. You will lead estimates, business cases, and plans, and oversee safety and HSE on complex utility projects.

You hold a degree in Industrial, Civil, or Bio-Engineering and have 3–5+ years in project/process engineering with piping in clean utilities; English fluency is required, Dutch is a plus. The role offers a permanent contract and flexible hours with homeworking options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial, Civil, or Bio-Engineering.
• 3-5+ years of engineering experience in project/process engineering with piping in clean utilities.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Craft accurate project estimates, business cases, and plans.
• Develop and manage key docs: project charters, scope statements, investment requests.
• Evaluate innovative technical solutions.
• Review and approve drawings, schedules, and layouts.
• Lead safety management, reviews, and ensure HSE standards.
• Tackle project challenges head-on and drive solutions.
