FedEx Express EU seeks a Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our European fleet team. You will perform routine service and repairs to keep vehicles safe, compliant, and ready for duties.

The role requires practical mechanical skills, knowledge of testing/troubleshooting equipment, and a valid driving license. FedEx provides training and opportunities for career growth within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• LGV C&E license (class one) or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Knowledge of automotive testing and troubleshooting equipment.
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy vehicle components.
• Experience with welding and DC electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid driving license.

Responsabilités

• Perform service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties.
• Complete signed service and inspection records.
• Prepare vehicles for annual MOT testing to ensure first-time pass.
• Take on ad-hoc vehicle repairs and rectify defects as needed.

What you will be doing

• Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties
• Completing signed service and inspection records
• Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements
• Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass
• Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects

What do you bring with you

• Your skill and applicable licenses our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one)
• Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing / troubleshooting equipment
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre Heavy Vehicle Components
• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills
• Valid driving license
