Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Technical Product Owner for Toxicology Systems, based in Beerse, Belgium. You will own the technical delivery for toxicology platforms, aligning science needs with enterprise technology standards and coordinating across engineering, data, and quality teams.

Bring 5+ years building scientific platforms, strong software/data engineering depth, and executive‑level communication skills to drive impactful scientific solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Chemistry, Toxicology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting scientific research platforms.
• Experience delivering data platforms, analytics products, or ML solutions in life sciences or drug discovery.
• Led technical programs or major projects end-to-end in a complex organization.
• Scientific literacy in toxicology concepts: assay types, ADME endpoints, promiscuity.
• Knowledge of Python or R, SQL, REST APIs, containerization, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
• Able to design scalable, maintainable platforms meeting scientific needs and regulatory constraints.
• Product and delivery leadership: roadmaps, investments, risks, dependencies.
• Executive communication to scientific, technology, and leadership audiences.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and pragmatic approach.

Responsabilités

• Lead technology strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery for digital products supporting toxicology workflows.
• Translate scientific needs into technical requirements and measurable deliverables with clear acceptance criteria.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership including architecture, prototyping, and design reviews.
• Ensure robust data ingestion, normalization, QC, and integrations with LIMS/ELN and instruments.
• Define data provenance, metadata standards, FAIR principles, and auditability for reproducibility.
• Act as primary technical liaison for toxicology scientists and gather feedback to drive adoption.
• Lead vendor evaluations and coordinate third‑party integrations with procurement, legal, and quality teams.
• Communicate product status, value, trade-offs, dependencies, and risks to leadership.
