We are looking for aSenior Product Manager / Product Lead (Insurance)to strengthen our EY Studio+ Financial Services practice, with a focus oninsurance product strategy, digital enablement, and customer-centric product development.

In this role, you will support leading insurers in designing and managing their product portfolios, leveragingdigital capabilities and design thinking approachesto deliver innovative, compliant, and customer-relevant solutions.
As aSenior Product Manager, you take ownership of theend-to-end lifecycle of insurance products, from strategy and design to implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

You combinestrong product governance and business expertisewith adigital mindset, ensuring that products are not only operationally sound and compliant, but also intuitive, customer-centric, and future-proof.

You actively applydesign thinking methodologiesto co-create new products and improve existing ones, translating customer insights into tangible product innovations.

Your Key Responsibilities

Insurance Product Strategy & Portfolio Management

• Define and drive theproduct vision, strategy, and roadmapfor insurance products
• Manage thefull product lifecycle: design, development, launch, monitoring, and optimization
• Translate strategic objectives intobusiness cases, product roadmaps, and action plans
• Integratedigital capabilities and innovation opportunitiesinto product strategies

Customer-Centric Product Development (Design Thinking)

• Applydesign thinking principlesto structure product development: from problem framing and ideation to prototyping and validation
• Leadworkshops with business and customer stakeholdersto co-create solutions
• Translate customer insights, behavioral data, and market signals intoinnovative product propositions
• Ensure products and services are designed with a strong focus oncustomer journeys and value creation

Digital Enablement & Customer Experience

• Drive thedigital enablement of insurance products(e.g. customer portals, servicing flows, onboarding journeys) as part of the overall product offering
• Ensure alignment betweenproduct design and digital touchpointsacross channels
• Leverage data and analytics tocontinuously improve product performance and customer experience
• Establish and maintain arobust product governance framework(incl. compliance, POG, financial and actuarial alignment)
• Safeguardregulatory compliance and product integrityacross the portfolio
• Monitor product performance, profitability, risk exposure, and customer value

Delivery & Operational Excellence

• Ensure structured and efficientproduct development and implementation processes
• Drive alignment betweenbusiness, IT, and operational teamsto ensure successful delivery
• Bring clarity in priorities, roles, and processes within the product organization

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Lead, coach, and developproduct managers and product owners
• Act as atrusted partner for senior stakeholdersacross business, compliance, actuarial, IT, and digital teams
• Facilitate decision-making in complex environments with multiple dependencies
• Strengthen product management maturity, ways of working, and governance models

Your Profile

You have:

• 7 –10+ years of experience in product management, ideally within insurance or other regulated industries
• Experience in roles such asSenior Product Manager, Product Lead, or Head of Product
• Proven track record inmanaging product portfolios and lifecycle management
• Strong understanding ofinsurance products, pricing, governance, and regulatory frameworks
• Experience incustomer-centric product development using design thinking methodologies
• Experience integratingdigital touchpoints and channels into product offerings
• Comfortable working withcustomer insights, analytics, and experimentation
• Strongpeople leadership and coaching experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills
• Experience withbusiness cases, data analysis, and performance monitoring
• Familiarity withproduct governance, compliance, and actuarial interactions
• Fluent inDutchandprofessional proficiency in English
