Job summary

Pharma Professionals is assisting a client in Belgium to recruit a Team Leader/Project Manager focused on small molecule research. The role centers on leading a research team and coordinating biology activities within drug discovery projects at a growing R&D-focused company.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Biology or a related field, have at least five years in pharma drug discovery, especially in CNS or inflammation areas, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Pharmacy or a related discipline.
• Min. 5 years of experience in biological aspect of drug discovery from Pharma industry.
• Experience with small molecule drug discovery.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of a few researchers.
• Work on various aspects of drug discovery, e.g. target validation, identification of biomarkers, etc.
