Johnson & Johnson in Belgium is seeking a Lead Operator for a high‑tech GMP production environment. You will coordinate daily production processes, support the shift, and act as the technical point of contact for operators and support services.

You bring strong technical and chemical knowledge, precise, safety- and quality-focused, with the ability to guide colleagues, analyze issues, and drive continuous improvement in a compliant setting.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and chemical knowledge within a GMP production context.
• Ability to coordinate the shift and front-line teams effectively.
• Safety- and quality-conscious approach in a regulated environment.
• Strong communication across operators and support services.
• Ability to analyze problems quickly and take correct actions.
• Familiarity with SAP, MES or process control tools is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily production processes within a GMP- and safety-focused setting.
• Act as technical contact for operators, other departments, and support services.
• Prepare start-up, follow-up and adjustment of production processes; troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure correct shift handovers, accurate documentation, and compliance with procedures.
• Coach new and experienced operators on the job; support training and improvements.
• In absence of supervisor, take on additional coordination tasks and align with planning.

Functieomschrijving Wil jij een sleutelrol spelen in een hoogtechnologische productieomgeving waar veiligheid, kwaliteit en teamwork centraal staan? Als Lead Operator ben jij de verbindende schakel tussen productie, operatoren en ondersteunende diensten. Je combineert sterke technische kennis met praktische coördinatie op de werkvloer en zorgt ervoor dat processen veilig, efficiënt en volgens de hoogste kwaliteitsstandaarden verlopen. In deze rol krijg je verantwoordelijkheid, afwisseling en impact: je ondersteunt de ploegwerking, begeleidt collega’s, lost operationele uitdagingen op en draagt actief bij aan continue verbetering binnen een GMP- en veiligheidskritische omgeving.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden en taken

• Als Lead Operator ben je verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse coördinatie en uitvoering van productieprocessen binnen een strikt gereguleerde GMP- en veiligheidsomgeving.
• Je bewaakt de continuïteit, veiligheid, kwaliteit en productiviteit van de shift en fungeert als technisch aanspreekpunt voor operatoren, nevenafdelingen en ondersteunende diensten.
• Je staat in voor het voorbereiden, opstarten, opvolgen en bijsturen van productieprocessen, inclusief troubleshooting bij technische of procesmatige problemen.
• Daarnaast zorg je voor correcte shiftoverdracht, nauwkeurige documentatie, opvolging van procedures, vergunningen, controles en kwaliteitsvereisten.
• Je begeleidt nieuwe en ervaren operatoren on the job, ondersteunt opleidingen en draagt actief bij aan een veilige, ordelijke en compliant werkomgeving.
• Bij afwezigheid van de supervisor neem je bijkomende coördinerende verantwoordelijkheden op, zoals het verdelen van taken, opvolgen van de planning, afstemmen met ondersteunende afdelingen, opvolgen van contractorwerken en optreden als aanspreekpunt voor de afdeling.
• Je ondersteunt verbeterinitiatieven en draagt bij aan continue optimalisatie op vlak van veiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu en efficiëntie.

Vereisten en kwalificaties

• Je hebt een sterke technische en chemische kennis, gecombineerd met ruime ervaring in een productieomgeving.
• Je werkt nauwkeurig, veilig en kwaliteitsbewust binnen een GMP- en compliancegerichte context.
• Je kan processen zelfstandig opvolgen, problemen analyseren en snel de juiste acties nemen.
• Daarnaast beschik je over goede coördinatie- en communicatievaardigheden.
• Je kan collega’s begeleiden, prioriteiten stellen, informatie duidelijk overbrengen en samenwerken met verschillende ondersteunende diensten.
• Kennis van productieprocedures, veiligheidsvoorschriften, kwaliteitssystemen en digitale tools zoals SAP, MES of procesbesturingssystemen is een sterke troef.
