Science at Work in Ghent region seeks a Verantwoordelijke Kwaliteit, Accreditatie en Auditing to ensure compliance with accreditation and certification requirements and to actively contribute to quality and continuous improvement.

You will manage, monitor and improve the internal quality system, prepare and conduct audits, report results, and track corrective actions. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and fluent Dutch/French/English are essential.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• About 5 years of experience with management systems, quality management and/or auditing.
• Good knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess processes critically and independently.
• Clear, professional communication and a customer-focused mindset.
• Initiative, ability to work independently and with colleagues/clients.
• Structured, accurate work with a focus on quality, efficiency and continual improvement.
• Fluency in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written).
• preferably experience as auditor or lead auditor.
• Preferably knowledge of ISO management standards such as ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO 50001 or ISO/IEC 27001.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and improve the internal quality system to meet accreditation and certification requirements incl. ISO/IEC 17021-1.
• Ensure quality, reliability and conformity of certification activities.
• Prepare, execute, report on internal audits and follow up on action items.
• Identify deviations, risks and improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Lead improvement projects and contribute to further optimization of processes and procedures.
• Conduct independent audits at clients and assess conformity and effectiveness of their management systems.
• Apply audit expertise in one or more domains such as ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001/ISO 50001/ISO/IEC 27001.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients as a trusted consultant.
