SQLI Ghent is seeking a Lead Front-end Architect to act as the technical authority for front-end projects across client engagements. You will define architectures, guide delivery, and ensure solutions meet client expectations from pre-sales to production.

The role combines hands-on development with strong technical leadership, coaching peers, creating reusable architecture blueprints, and collaborating with international teams.

Qualifications

• Front-end architecture leadership and estimation experience.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French a plus.
• Strong React and Next.js expertise.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with headless and composable architectures.
• Familiar with Contentful/Strapi, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Git, CI/CD, Docker and cloud deployments.
• Vercel hosting and modern testing/QA practices.
• Accessibility and performance testing awareness.
• Ability to map requirements to actionable delivery plans.

Responsabilités

• Own the front-end architecture of complex digital projects.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Break down large solutions into epics and development plans.
• Challenge analyses, identify risks and missing requirements.
• Develop complex components with strong engineering standards.
• Explain decisions to clients and delivery teams.
• Support pre-sales with workshops and solution design.
• Coach developers through mentoring and code reviews.
• Create reusable architecture blueprints and new service offerings.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, Docker environments and cloud deployments.
