Belgie Vacature is seeking a Bus Mechanic for our client in Affligem or Lede. The role involves independent mechanical and electrical repairs on buses, preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and guiding junior technicians.

Training will be provided by various bus manufacturers, and you will work in a modern workshop with a supportive team. The ideal candidate has a technical background in vehicle mechanics, knowledge of electronics, and the ability to read electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

Solid technical background in vehicle mechanics.
Knowledge of vehicle electronics and ability to read electrical diagrams.
Proactive with good problem-solving skills.
Able to communicate in English, Dutch or French.
Experience with suspension systems, brakes, filters and general servicing.

Responsabilités

Independently perform mechanical and electrical repairs and installations on buses (simple and complex).
Carry out preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
Accurately report maintenance work using garage application.
Lead when necessary and guide fellow technicians.
Participate in training courses provided by bus manufacturers.
