Arcadis seeks a Lab Analyst for the Raw Materials lab to execute tests on materials, report results, and support quality performance. The role involves partial planning, execution, and evaluation under supervision, with shifts including day, morning, and afternoon weeks.

Tasks cover routine testing, data entry, and strict adherence to SOPs and cGMP guidelines. The candidate should hold a Bachelor in Science, have 2 years of lab experience if possible, and demonstrate accuracy, planning ability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science; 2 years’ lab experience preferred.
• Knowledge of analytical techniques: HPLC and GS.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• English language: active knowledge; French: passive.
• Independent worker with team spirit and responsibility.

Responsabilités

• Execute and evaluate analytical tests on raw materials, bulk, and finished products according to pharmacopoeia and SOPs.
• Sample, test and evaluate water controls (city water, DI-water, WFI, clean steam).
• Write analyses reports and enter results into the LIMS system.
• Initiate deviation/investigation reports as needed and report findings.
• Perform calibrations of balances, glassware, and other small instruments.

As a Lab Analist (Raw Materials lab) you will support the organization in meeting excellent quality performance by executing various tests on materials or products in order to report on the results.

Partial planning, execution and evaluation of the indicated tests under general

supervision.

Lab Raw Materials : In this lab, tests are carried out on raw materials before they go into production

Contractor will work, 1 week in Day shift, 1 week in Morning shift, 1 week in Day shift, 1 week in Afternoon shift.

Responsibilities

• Execute and evaluate analytical tests (on raw materials/semi-finished products (bulk)/finished products according to pharmacopoeia and procedures and standards. Perform all tests based on Heist testing quality monographs and in accordance with SOPs
• Sample, test and evaluate water controls of city-water, DI-water, WFI and clean steam
• Write the analyses reports
• Enter the results of the tests clearly, completely and correctly into the LIMS system
• Initiate deviation reports, initiate « Out Of Trend » or « Out Of Spec » investigation as needed and report the findings
• Review test results of colleagues (Analysts)
• Results that are not within specifications must be reported to the Senior

• Perform all lab activities according to cGMP guidelines
• Read and handle pharmacopoeia and standards
• Write and update SOP’s
• Lab equipment and material
• Perform calibrations of balances and glassware and other small instruments
• Daily review of the temperature and humidity registrations of equipment
• Propose new or adapted equipment and instruments for the laboratory
• Follow-up delivery of Certificates from the suppliers
• Follow-up the stock of all lab material needed
• Assure that expired materials are destroyed and inventory list is updated
• Execute various tasks assigned by supervision (e.g. special request testing, stability testing, identification of finished products, water analysis, in-process testing, …).
• Responsible for the cleanliness in the lab according to the housekeeping program.
• Purchase requisitions (SAP)

Impact and Problem-Solving

The tasks of the Analysts are mainly operational tasks following the precise guidelines: complete the tests within the required finishing-periods according to the priorities set by the Supervisor on instructions of the customer and the Manager.

The tasks to be performed have limited diversity: routine and experience are used to solve the majority of problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in science and/or preferably experience of 2 years in a similar lab
• Knowledge of analytical techniques : HPLC - GS
• Knowledge of general software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook,…)
