Forvis Mazars is seeking a Junior VAT Consultant to join our Brussels, Louvain-la-Neuve or Ghent office. You will provide VAT compliance services to corporate clients and support in preparing VAT returns, EC sales lists and Intrastat returns.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team, study for professional qualifications, and benefit from intensive training, with opportunities to develop into a tax expert while building an international network.

Qualifications

• Degree in law, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 0–2 years of VAT experience.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch is an asset.

As a Junior VAT Consultant, you will join our team in our office in Brussels, Louvain-la-Neuve or Ghent.

Your Responsibilities

• You provide VAT compliance services to corporate clients.
• You prepare and review VAT returns, EC sales listings and Intrastat returns.
• You advise and assist our clients in a broad range of VAT-related matters.
• You review tax assessments and assist clients during tax audits.
• You assist in internal and external meetings.
• You work in a multidisciplinary team of experts.

Your Profile

• You have obtained a degree in law, accounting, economics, or any related field;
• You have between 0 and 2 years of experience in VAT;
• You have fluent communication skills in English and French (Dutch is an asset);
• You like to dive into complex matter, and you dream of becoming an expert in the tax area;
• You are an excellent and ambitious team player.
