Syngenia in Brussels is seeking a (junior) Project Engineer for the East & West Flanders region. The PAC role focuses on protection, automation, and control within electrical infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with project leaders and design teams, guide the design effort, and monitor progress from feasibility studies to closure, ensuring high technical standards and risk-aware delivery. The position offers exposure to international projects and opportunities to grow within a global

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in automation
• Knowledge of electricity grids is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Analytical ability to solve complex technical problems

Responsabilités

• Collaborate on various voltage-level projects (380kV to 36kV), ensuring technical aspects are well-defined and executed
• Work closely with Project Leaders and other Project Engineers, focusing on technical details while Leaders manage organizational aspects
• Participate in all stages of the project, from feasibility studies to closure
• Direct the design team during detailed studies, ensuring thorough, high-quality studies
• Provide regular updates on project progress, facilitating clear communication among stakeholders
• Proactively identify how new concepts might affect project operations and mitigate risks
