Job summary

MindCapture BV is seeking a System Specialist to support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of digital manufacturing systems in a highly regulated biopharmaceutical setting in Ghent, Belgium.

You will bridge manufacturing operations and technology, translating business needs into compliant, user-friendly system solutions, covering MES configuration, validation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific/technical field.
• Minimum 1.5 years of professional experience in manufacturing, engineering or life sciences.
• Experience with digital manufacturing systems and automation technologies.
• Familiarity with GMP and working in a regulated environment is advantageous.
• Experience with system validation, testing or UAT is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Translate manufacturing and user needs into functional requirements and system specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, vendors and stakeholders for configuration and implementation.
• Support design, configuration and optimization of MES and enterprise applications.
• Develop and review validation documents, SOPs and test protocols.
• Execute testing and UAT, document results and ensure compliance.
• Provide training materials and end-user training on implemented systems.
• Support data interfaces and integration between connected manufacturing apps.
• Contribute to standardisation, scalability and continuous improvement of digital solutions.
