Harvey Nash is seeking a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to support the CMS 2.0 program in the energy sector. You will bridge business needs and IT solutions, ensuring evolution of market processes and systems, with a focus on SAP IS-U.

You will work across testing, coordination, and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent requirements and smooth deployments within the CMS 2.0 initiative.

We are looking for a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to support the implementation of the CMS 2.0 program within the energy sector. In this role, you will act as the bridge between business needs and IT solutions, ensuring the successful evolution of market processes and systems, particularly SAP IS-U.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market & Functional Analysis

• Analyze the business needs, functional principles, and use cases defined within the CMS 2.0 program and identify their impact on market exchange processes and our client's systems, particularly SAP IS-U.
• Contribute to the drafting of impact analyses, functional specifications, business rules, and process maps required for the implementation of changes.
• Analyze and assess issues related to MIG-DGO flows, data management, and interfaces between the CMS and the client back-end systems.
• Identify dependencies with other projects or information system components and elevate items requiring functional or strategic decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve Market processes within your scope and propose solutions aligned with program principles and client's operational constraints.

2. Testing & Support

• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data, and contribute to the execution and validation of SIT and UAT test campaigns.
• Document test results, analyze identified gaps, and follow up on issues through resolution or escalation.
• Participate in integration testing of market exchanges, particularly between the CMS and the client back-end.
• Maintain functional documentation and traceability throughout the lifecycle of changes.
• Provide functional support during production deployments, transition periods, and hypercare activities.

3. Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Participate in Atrias working groups and internal alignment meetings within your area of responsibility, in coordination with the existing team.
• Act as the operational link between Business, IT, Testing teams, and Application Experts to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and impacts.
• Prepare clear summaries regarding analysis progress, expected decisions, risks, and open issues.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and long-term knowledge retention within client's teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical/IT constraints.
• Operational knowledge of MIG6 / MIG-DGO Market processes.
• Proven experience in requirements analysis.
• Proven experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst on SAP IS-U projects within the energy sector.
• Native or near-native French proficiency (C2 level).

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with incident management tools such as Jira, TOPdesk, or similar.
• Experience using process modelling tools.
• Knowledge of BPMN and/or UML modelling.
• Experience preparing and executing SIT/UAT testing, including defect analysis and tracking.

• French: C2 (mandatory)
