Compass Lexecon in Brussels is hiring an Analyst for the Competition Practice to support high-profile cases before European institutions and national authorities. You will work under senior staff to connect economic theory with empirical evidence.

Most successful candidates hold a Master’s in economics and are highly analytical, with strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Stata and Excel and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, ideally with microeconomics/IO/econometrics.
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Stata and Excel is expected.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Responsabilités

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative client data to understand how competition works in their industry.
• Review literature and discuss theoretical and empirical approaches.
• Conduct empirical analysis using Excel and Stata.
• Draft reports summarising analyses.
• Participate in client meetings and conference calls.
