Compass Lexecon in Brussels is seeking an Analyst to join our Competition Practice. You will assist with economic analysis for high-profile cases before EC, courts, and regulators, translating data into clear arguments under senior supervision.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in economics, strong analytical ability, fluency in English, and solid Excel and Stata skills. You will work in an international team on diverse projects and have opportunities for mentoring and training.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in economics, ideally with focus on microeconomics, industrial organisation and/or econometrics.
Highly analytical.
Excellent organisational skills with an ability to multi-task.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic Stata and Excel skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

Analysing qualitative and quantitative client data to better understand how competition works in their industry.
Reviewing literature and contributing to discussions about the theoretical and empirical approach.
Conducting empirical analysis using Excel and Stata.
Drafting reports summarising analysis.
Participating in client meetings and conference calls.
