Solita is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our team in Belgium and grow into a trusted data consultant through hands-on project work, coaching, and learning. You’ll start your consulting career by working alongside more experienced colleagues on customer projects, receiving on-the-job training and support from senior consultants while developing your skills in data engineering and customer work.

Qualifications

• Recent degree in IT, computer science or data/AI engineering
• Technical mindset and interest in data engineering and cloud technologies
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a consulting environment and develop commercial skills
• Fluency in English and in either Dutch or French
• Hands-on experience from studies, internships, thesis work, personal projects, or student jobs related to data and AI is a big plus

Responsabilités

• Support design and development of modern data solutions in customer projects
• Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and integrations with senior colleagues
• Learn how to use cloud data platforms and engineering tools in practice
• Contribute to testing, validation, and continuous improvement of data solutions
• Turn business and user needs into practical technical work together with your team
• Participate in customer collaboration and develop your consultancy skills over time
