ATCON GLOBAL is seeking a Junior Data & AI Consultant to join our Belgium technology team. You will work with clients and stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven, AI-powered solutions.

You will collaborate on data pipelines, analytics, dashboards and ML use cases using Python, SQL, Power BI and cloud platforms. Fluent in French or Dutch and strong English are required.

This is an excellent entry point to grow in Data, Analytics, Cloud, and AI within a consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Data, BI, Analytics, AI or related field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with at least one BI tool, preferably Power BI.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and data engineering basics.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with good English communication.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Data & AI Consultant to join our growing technology team in Belgium. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career at the intersection of Data, Analytics, Cloud and Artificial Intelligence.

You will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, data engineers and technical teams to transform business needs into data-driven and AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into data and AI solutions.


• Support the design and implementation of data pipelines, analytics and AI use cases.


• Work with structured and unstructured data and contribute to data preparation and analysis.


• Develop dashboards, reports and data visualizations.


• Support the development and integration of AI / Machine Learning solutions.


• Work with technologies such as Python, SQL, Power BI and cloud platforms.


• Assist with data quality, data governance and documentation activities.


• Collaborate with clients and technical teams in an Agile environment.


• Stay up to date with emerging Generative AI, Machine Learning and Data technologies.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 1-4 years of experience in Data, Business Intelligence, Analytics, AI or a related field.


• Good knowledge of SQL and Python.


• Experience with at least one BI / visualization tool, preferably Power BI.


• Basic understanding of Data Engineering, APIs, databases and cloud technologies.


• Exposure to Machine Learning, AI or Generative AI is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP.


• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or Azure Data Factory.


• Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.


• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG or AI agents.


• Knowledge of data governance or data management concepts.


• Consulting or client-facing experience.

Behavioural and Other Requirements

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders.


• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a consulting environment.


• Fluent in French or Dutch, with good English communication skills.


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related field.
