Contec - Industrial Automation Solutions is seeking a Junior Automation Engineer to join the Manufacturing Control team. You will contribute to PLC programming and visualization, while coordinating with clients and your project team to start up and support various projects.

You will work on-site with occasional travel, using your Industrial Automation background to deliver reliable automation solutions and documentation across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Automation or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Driver's license is required.
• Dutch and English fluency in speaking and writing.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proactive and logical approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to travel for projects and client sites.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxure Control Expert and Operator Terminal Expert is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Analyze client assignments and develop FDS to meet requirements.
• Program PLCs and visualize HMI per FDS or standards.
• Ensure PLC data exchange with MOM/MES systems in collaboration with teams.
• Prepare FAT simulations with clients, onsite or remotely.
• Perform site commissioning and SAT start-up.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation (FDS, manuals, etc.).
• Provide aftercare and coordinate with project team and clients.
