Job summary

EY in Belgium seeks aspiring auditors to join our Assurance team. You will help provide independent verification of client financial statements and support the audit process from understanding the business to final reporting.

The role offers training to become a licensed auditor, a collaborative team environment, and a flexible, hybrid work model. You will graduate this year in a relevant field, be fluent in Dutch and English, and bring an analytical mindset with a client-oriented focus.

Qualifications

• You will graduate this year in a relevant field (Economics/Business/Commerce).
• Fluent in Dutch with excellent written and spoken English.
• Team player with autonomy, curiosity and results orientation.
• Analytical mindset, client-oriented and stress-resistant.
• Willing to undertake training to become a licensed auditor (IBR – IRE).
• Available to start in October 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent verification of clients' compliance with accounting principles.
• Support interim and final audit phases by understanding business processes and assessing risks.
• Analyze financial statements and validate inventory and internal controls.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality audit work and value to clients.
