ING Commercial Finance BeLux in Brussels (BeLux) is seeking a Junior Asset Based Lending Expert to join a newly formed team. You will learn end-to-end processes, assist in structuring and implementing factoring programs, and contribute to client presentations and portfolio analyses.

You will work alongside professionals across Sales, Risk, Legal, Operations and Product Management, building a career in ING’s international Transaction Services and Working Capital platform.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience (internships included) within banking, finance, consulting, accounting or corporate finance.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Genuine interest in companies, financial markets and working capital solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
• Fluency in Dutch or French and a good command of English.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior team members with the preparation, structuring and implementation of factoring programs for clients across EMEA within Business and Wholesale banking.
• Contribute to client pitches, proposals and transaction presentations.
• Participate in client meetings and internal deal discussions.
• Perform financial and credit analysis of clients and underlying portfolios.
• Prepare portfolio reviews, covenant monitoring and periodic reporting.
• Identify risks, opportunities and trends within client portfolios.
• Support documentation reviews and transaction implementation activities.
• Work closely with colleagues from Sales, Risk, Legal, Operations and Product Management.
• Support communication with external stakeholders such as auditors, insurers and legal advisors where required.
• Support new product initiatives and strategic projects.

ING Commercial Finance (ING ComFin) is part of ING Lease Belgium and is a leading provider of receivables finance and working capital solutions for Business Banking and Wholesale Banking clients. Over the years, we have continuously evolved our solutions and expertise to help companies optimize cash flow, support growth, and strengthen their working capital position.

We are currently building a new structured working capital team that will support the origination, implementation, portfolio management and optimization of financing solutions for clients across Business Banking and Wholesale banking.

As a Junior Asset Based Lending Expert, you will have the opportunity to learn the business end-to-end. You will work alongside experienced commercial, risk, legal, operations and product professionals, gaining exposure to complex asset based lending financing structures while developing into a future specialist or commercial professional within ING.
