Lansweeper in Belgium is seeking a Junior Accountant to take ownership of day-to-day accounting across accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and compliance. You will help ensure accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness as we scale across markets in an international SaaS environment.

Based in Belgium with hybrid work from our Ghent office (2–3 days per week in the office), you will join a small finance team and partner with internal colleagues and external partners to keep the books clean

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent; 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or first job welcome)
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
• Proficient in Excel; experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP or Exact is a plus
• Fluent in English; Dutch or another European language is an asset
• Based in Belgium, with the ability to work hybrid from our Ghent office (2–3 days per week in office required)

Responsabilités

• Process and verify supplier invoices, credit notes and expense claims accurately and on time
• Follow up on outstanding customer invoices and support the collections process
• Reconcile AP/AR ledgers and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Post journal entries and assist with monthly closing activities
• Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Maintain accurate and well‑financial records and filing
• Support VAT declarations, statutory filings and audit preparation
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations
