NUVIA Benelux in Brussels is seeking a Jr. Operation Manager - Site Works & Nuclear Operations Manager to supervise intervention teams, drive site execution and ensure client satisfaction on Belgian nuclear sites.

You will act as the operational link between site teams, clients and management, coordinating resources, safety, quality and continuous improvement in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Higher technical degree or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum 2 years in site works management or industrial maintenance.
• Experience in regulated industrial environments (nuclear, energy, chemicals).
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.

As part of the development of our activities in Belgian, we are recruiting a Jr. Operation Manager - Site Works & Nuclear Operations Manager to support our projects on the Belgian nuclear sites.

We are looking first and foremost for a field-oriented professional who can supervise intervention teams, drive site execution and ensure client satisfaction in a highly regulated environment.

You will act as the operational link between site teams, clients and NUVIA Benelux management, ensuring the reliable day-to-day delivery of works on site.

1. Site works management

• Prepare, organise and coordinate interventions on Belgian nuclear sites.
• Supervise field teams and subcontractors during execution phases.
• Ensure daily follow-up of work progress, priorities and operational constraints.
• Guarantee quality of execution, deadlines, cost control and client expectations.
• Participate in work acceptance, punch-list follow-up and close-out activities.

2. Field presence and client interface

• Act as the key point of contact for clients on site.
• Carry out technical site visits and identify additional business opportunities.
• Provide technical support to teams and clients.
• Coordinate interfaces between site execution teams, engineering, suppliers, subcontractors and management.

3. Operational team leadership

• Plan the human and material resources required for interventions.
• Lead site meetings, operational briefings and safety toolbox talks.
• Support team development and skills improvement.
• Maintain strong engagement and operational performance within the site team.

4. Safety and quality

• Deploy and enforce QHSE requirements on site.
• Prepare and follow up task risk analyses, inspections and field audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and audit preparation.
• Promote an exemplary safety culture and a zero-harm mindset.

5. Business contribution

• Contribute to cost estimates, technical and commercial offers.
• Identify new opportunities with existing clients.
• Support the growth and structuring of NUVIA Benelux activities.

You are a practical, field-driven professional who enjoys complex industrial environments and direct coordination with operational teams.

Criteria

Expectations

Education

Higher technical degree, industrial/civil engineering background or equivalent experience.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in site works management, industrial maintenance or field intervention coordination.

Field leadership

Proven ability, you are already quickly looking at more established profiles.

Industrial exposure

Experience in a regulated industrial environment such as nuclear, energy, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals or heavy industry.

Skills

Site organisation, works coordination, subcontractor management, HSE culture, client orientation and pragmatic decision-making.

Languages

Fluent French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.
