MAINSYS in Belgium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver Java-based modules for client projects. You will participate in architecture decisions, analyze components, develop, integrate and test software, and deploy in client environments.

In order to design, develop and deliver new modules to our clients, MAINSYSis looking for Senior Software Engineer who will:

• participate in the definition of the needs and choice of architectures,

• take part in the conceptual and technical analyses of the architecture and software components,

• participate in the development, integration and testing of the various software components,

• be involved in the deployment of these components inour clients’ environments.

• lead specific changes and coordinate the various stakeholders involved.

Your Profile

• You are a Senior Software Engineer and have a degree in computer science or equivalent [MUST HAVE]

• At least 5 years of experience in Java development is required, with a strong focus on performance, maintainability, and ease of monitoring.

• You speakFrench and are proficient in English. Dutch is an asset.

• You have skills in Java development:

1. Java 17+

2. Build up and maintain REST API

3. Spring Suite 6 and 7 (spring-rest, spring-security, spring-boot)

4. A knowledge of JBoss EAP 8 , Jboss Server or RHBK is welcome

5. A knowledge of Docker is an asset

6. A knowledge of Message Queuing (IBM) and Kafka is an asset
