Sopra Steria in Belgium is seeking a Java Software Developer to join our Design & Develop team. You will develop, test, and maintain applications written in Java using Spring and Hibernate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

This role emphasizes clean code, modern tooling (Maven, Git), and staying current with cloud, DevOps, and Agile practices. English communication is required; French or Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Java with the Spring stack (Boot, MVC, Data, Cloud).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• DevOps experience and familiarity with Scrum.
• English language required; French and/or Dutch desirable.
