Job summary

Methis Consulting Belgium is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead digital transformation and infrastructure projects in the energy and mobility sectors. The role bridges business requirements and technical implementation, with a hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days on client site and from home).

Ideal candidates have 3–7+ years in IT project management within utilities or related sectors, and a strong background in IT upgrades, digital platforms, and enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in business economics, business engineering or technology-oriented field (ICT, business analytics, engineering, computer science).
• 3–7+ years experience managing IT projects in the utilities, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong understanding of utility business processes and systems (GIS, SCADA, SAP IS-U, AMI, outage management).
• Proven track record delivering IT upgrades, digital platforms, or enterprise applications.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project methodologies: Agile, PRINCE2, or PMI/PMP.
• Mother tongue French or Dutch and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects across the utilities domain (energy, water, gas, grid operations).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with strategic goals.
• Manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure milestones and budgets are met.
• Oversee project documentation, risk management, and status reporting.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data governance, and cybersecurity standards.
• Drive continuous improvement through post-implementation reviews and process optimization.
