  • Fast growth in a company that’s expanding across Europe, the US, and Asia.

  • High energy in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

  • Guided freedom to take initiative, solve problems your way, and grow your career.

We believe in entrepreneurship, expertise, excellence, and engagement — and we live these values every day. From repairing returned goods to reducing waste, we help brands extend product lifecycles with sustainability in mind.

So if you’re ready to roll out the red carpet for our clients — and for each other — we’ve got a spot for you.

Behind the scenes is where the real excitement begins. Ready to join us?

Tasks and Responsibilities

We are looking for an Application Developer to help strengthen and expand our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will build, enhance, and maintain business applications on a modern, data-centric development platform.

You will collaborate closely with analysts, architects, and other developers to translate requirements into reliable, secure, and scalable technical solutions. Our development landscape is evolving, with modern tooling and AI-assisted ways of working becoming a natural part of how we build software. You will have the opportunity to help shape this and play a key role in building and expanding our applications.

Your responsibilities

Application Development

  • Develop and enhance business applications using a modern rapid-development platform, combining declarative building blocks with custom code.

  • Design and build clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Implement new functionality, process logic, and UI/UX improvements.

  • Integrate applications with other internal or external systems through REST APIs and web services.

  • Implement data transformations, automation flows, and error-handling processes.

  • Write and optimise SQL and database logic (e.g., PL/SQL) for advanced scenarios.

General Technical Responsibilities

  • Translate functional requirements into solid technical implementations.

  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

  • Document technical changes, designs, and best practices.

  • Support technical upgrades, refactoring activities, security improvements, and performance optimisations.

Future Technology Work

  • Opportunity to work with additional platforms and technologies as our application landscape evolves.

  • Make use of modern development tools, including AI-assisted development, to work more efficiently and help improve our team’s way of working.

Your profile

  • Experience developing business applications, preferably on a rapid-development or data-centric application platform.

  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS, with an eye for clean, maintainable, and responsive front-end design. Experience with JavaScript is a plus.

  • A good understanding of SQL and REST APIs, allowing you to work efficiently with databases and connect external services.

  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

  • The ability to independently convert functional requirements into technical solutions.

  • Comfortable collaborating within cross-functional teams (business, architects, developers).

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

  • Openness to new ways of working and modern development tools, including AI.

What We Offer

  • A technical role that combines application development, front-end design, and integration work.

  • Direct impact on several key systems across the organisation.

  • Freedom to contribute ideas and influence technical decisions.

  • A modern development environment in which you can work with the latest tools and techniques.

  • Opportunities to grow towards platform expertise, architecture support, or broader solution ownership.

  • An agile environment with autonomy, collaboration, and short decision cycles.

At Bleckmann, we are guided by our values: We take a parachute and jump (Entrepreneurship), we unpack our knowledge (Expertise), we raise the bar with every box (Excellence), and we spark energy that connects (Engagement).
