Tereos Aalst is seeking an Intellectual Property & Knowledge Manager to shape and execute the IP and knowledge strategy across the Group. You will support R&D and business teams with patent landscaping, scientific analysis and competitive intelligence, while driving modern knowledge management practices and tools.

You will collaborate with R&D, business, legal and external partners, ensuring alignment and maximizing IP impact across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant scientific/technical field (chemistry, food science, biotech).
• Minimum 10 years in IP management within agro-food or related industries or private practice.
• Strong expertise in patent strategy and portfolio management.
• Ability to operate at strategic level and hands-on execution.
• Translate IP/scientific insights into actionable recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive IP strategy aligned with innovation priorities.
• Manage and develop patent portfolio (filing, prosecution, maintenance).
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Lead patent governance and coordinate external patent attorneys.
• Identify IP valorisation opportunities (licensing, partnerships).
