EFTA seeks two Temporary Policy Officers to support the Internal Market Division in Brussels for a 6-month period, with potential extension. The role involves coordinating meetings, monitoring EU policy developments, and drafting memos and position papers on EEA-related files.

Candidates should have a degree in international relations, political sciences, or law and at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• University degree in international relations, political sciences, law or related field.
• Excellent ability to draft policy papers, agendas and reports concisely in English.
• Solid knowledge of the substance and functioning of the EEA Agreement and EU policies and institutional structure.
• Agile use of standard office software and case handling systems.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and facilitate meetings of EFTA expert and working groups.
• Monitor EU policy developments and their relevance for the EEA EFTA States.
• Handle day-to-day case work on incorporation of EU acts into the EEA Agreement.
• Draft memos, notes and meeting reports; contribute to reports and briefings.
