As part of our Nuclear activities, we are looking for an Instrumentation & Control Project Engineer to support the implementation of technical modifications, modernization projects and maintenance programs within nuclear power generation facilities. Working within a multidisciplinary project environment, you will act as the link between engineering studies and field implementation. You will coordinate the preparation, execution and commissioning of instrumentation and control (I&C) modifications while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, schedule and budget requirements. You will contribute to the long-term operation and modernization of critical industrial installations while collaborating closely with engineering, maintenance and operational teams.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
- Coordinate and manage I&C projects and technical modifications from preparation through final acceptance.
- Act as the interface between engineering teams, maintenance departments and external contractors.
- Participate in the definition of technical solutions, component selection, maintenance requirements and spare parts strategies.
- Prepare technical and administrative documentation required for project execution and implementation.
- Develop and maintain project execution dossiers, procedures, maintenance plans and technical documentation.
- Ensure strict application of intervention and modification processes during preparation and site execution phases.
- Support project managers in estimating budgets, planning activities and resource requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders involved in project execution and ensure effective communication between all parties.
- Monitor project progress and ensure delivery of quality documentation within agreed timelines.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and commissioning activities when required.
- Report project status, risks and technical challenges to management and stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance strategies, preventive maintenance plans, spare parts management and technical problem-solving.
- Analyze operational feedback and lessons learned to improve equipment reliability, safety and process efficiency.
ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in one or several of the following areas: industrial instrumentation, sensors and measurement systems, industrial control systems, automation architectures, electrical and electronic equipment.
- Experience managing technical projects, coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders or supervising industrial modifications is considered a strong asset.
- Experience in the nuclear industry is highly appreciated.
- Strong interest in industrial technologies, automation and control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices is considered an asset.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English is mandatory
