Gordon Food Service is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Newark, DE. You will act as the liaison between outside sales, internal teams, and customers to manage orders, address stock issues, and offer substitution options.

You will strengthen relationships, utilize e-Commerce tools including a CRM, and handle delivery exceptions and credits as needed, contributing to overall customer success and company growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of previous customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll serve as the liaison between outside sales, partners within the organization, and existing customers. You'll be responsible for managing customer orders, communicating with customers regarding out-of-stocks and substitution options, strengthening customer relationships, utilizing e-Commerce technologies, scheduling exception deliveries, determining credits for customers when appropriate, and more! You'll help them to achieve their goals and, in return, yours!
