Arbalett seeks an agronomist engineer to develop partnerships with farmers and secure high-quality supply. You will be the main contact for a vast network of growers after onboarding, building long-term relationships and guiding crop monitoring.

You will split time between office tasks and hands-on field visits, advising on best practices and securing reliable, quality-focused suppliers while negotiating terms and maintaining digital records.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in Dutch is essential; French is a plus.
• Degree in agriculture or horticulture, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in purchasing or sales and ability to work with farmers.

Your role

After a thorough onboarding programme, you will become the main point of contact for a large network of growers. You will help secure a steady, high-quality supply of products by building long-term partnerships with farmers.

• You maintain relationships with existing growers and actively develop new partnerships.
• You advise farmers on crop monitoring and support them in being reliable, quality-focused suppliers.
• You negotiate prices and contracts.
• You log your follow-up in a digital system and contribute to supply planning.
• You split your time between office work (phone follow-up, administration) and farm visits in the field.

Your profile

• You are a strong communicator who builds rapport easily.
• You know the agricultural world and have experience in purchasing or sales, a degree in agriculture or horticulture, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• You are well organised, have a commercial mindset and are comfortable with administrative software.
• Fluency in Dutch is essential; French is a plus.
