Capgemini is seeking an Industrial Quality Engineer to guard quality across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure compliance with demanding standards.

The role requires a mechanical/electromechanical background, 3+ years in industrial quality, and strong problem-solving skills (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 8D, PFMEA). French and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical field.
  • Minimum 3 years in industrial quality and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of EN9100 and/or ISO 9001.
  • Experience with problem-solving methods (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 8D, PFMEA).
  • Ability to review technical docs and manufacturing processes.
  • Fluent French and English.

Responsabilités

  • Provide quality support across the product flow from incoming inspection to delivery.
  • Review technical specs, regulatory requirements, and work instructions.
  • Analyse non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement via SQCDP, FMEA, and improvements.
  • Maintain up-to-date reference documentation and traceability.

Where no two days are the same.YOUR ROLEAs an Industrial Quality Engineer, you will be the guardian of quality throughout the entire product lifecycle, from development and industrialization through to production and final delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with the most demanding quality standards.In this role you will play a key role in:Providing quality support throughout the entire product flow, from incoming inspection through production to final delivery, while actively participating in product evolution processes through Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)Supporting relevant teams during product development and industrialization phases by reviewing and strengthening product definition files, including technical specifications, regulatory requirements, manufacturing work instructions, and quality control requirementsAnalysing production non-conformities to identify root causes related to products and processes, using methodologies such as Ishikawa, 5 Whys, and 8D, and ensuring the implementation and effectiveness of corrective, preventive, and containment actionsContributing to the continuous improvement of current and future industrial processes in collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, and Engineering teams, leveraging tools such as SQCDP, FMEA, and targeted improvement workshopsEnsuring that reference documentation (manufacturing routings, inspection procedures, etc.) is up to date and properly applied, while guaranteeing the availability and accuracy of manufacturing-related data and reports as the guardian of traceability processesSupporting the analysis of non-conformities identified during incoming inspection, involving both suppliers and internal industrial and supply chain activities, and working with stakeholders to ensure corrective actions achieve the expected resultsContributing to the development and continuous improvement of operational quality within the Quality Department, Production teams, and across the organisation, bringing a strong industrial perspective to all quality initiativesYOUR PROFILEAs an Industrial Quality Engineer, you are a rigorous and proactive professional with a strong technical background in industrial quality and continuous improvement, capable of working autonomously while thriving in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.You hold an engineering degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field, and bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial quality and continuous improvement roleYou have excellent knowledge of EN9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management standards, combined with hands-on experience in problem-solving methodologies such as Ishikawa, 5 Whys, 8D, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA/FMEA)You have a strong capability in reviewing and preparing technical and quality documentation, a good understanding of technical drawings and measuring instruments, and solid knowledge of industrial manufacturing processesYou demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a rigorous, methodical, and well-organised approach to work, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while remaining autonomous when requiredYou are professionally proficient in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills, and bring a proactive, committed, and enthusiastic attitude to everything you doWhat you'll love about working here:Digital Campuses and Academy – Our engineering academy offers more than 60,000 hours of training, alongside our digital campus covering GenAI, data, and sustainability.
