Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a senior civil/structural supervisor to oversee capital investment projects on an industrial site. You will coordinate both civil and structural works, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while liaising with maintenance and process teams.

Responsibilities include kick-off meetings, permit handling, drawing interpretation, and documentation management. A strong focus on safety and experience in brownfield environments are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supervising and executing civil and structural works.
• Experience in industrial brownfield environments.
• Strong safety focus with VCA-VOL certificate.
• Ability to interpret technical execution drawings and prepare bills of quantities autonomously.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil and structural investment projects on an industrial site with emphasis on safety.
• Organize and facilitate kick-off meetings and toolbox talks; manage work permit procedures with contractors.
• Monitor and verify the quality of works against specifications and drawings.
• Manage administrative documentation including quotations, purchase orders, progress statements and as-built dossiers.
• Participate in constructability reviews during design stages and propose practical solutions.
• Report progress to project managers and maintain clear communication with maintenance and process teams.
