Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking an IAM Consultant to strengthen digital security and risk management across client engagements within Risk Advisory. You will design operating models, perform maturity assessments, and drive IAM roadmaps for a diverse range of industries, collaborating with IT, security and business teams.

You will implement IAM solutions, support regulatory compliance and help translate complex findings into practical recommendations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Cybersecurity, IT Risk, Security Architecture or a related field.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with IAM domains such as Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Access Management.
• Familiarity with leading IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk, One Identity, Okta or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design IAM operating models and governance structures that align with objectives and risk appetite.
• Lead IAM maturity assessments and benchmark against industry good practices.
• Develop pragmatic IAM roadmaps, business cases and multi-year transformation plans.
• Assist clients in deploying, configuring and optimizing IAM technologies.
• Support regulatory compliance through effective identity governance and access controls.
• Design secure provisioning, role management, recertification and access review processes.
• Collaborate with IT, security, risk and business teams to align IAM initiatives with requirements.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for management and stakeholders.
