Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Belgium is seeking a Cloud Developer to join our Hybrid Cloud team. The role focuses on building and maintaining scalable cloud platforms and network tooling, with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with backend, frontend, network, and SRE teams to deliver NTM/NCM driven solutions, design topology management, and improve observability. This hybrid role requires about two days per week in office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering in cloud/enterprise systems.
• Strong Java and/or Python and/or Go skills.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and event-driven patterns.
• Networking fundamentals including SNMP, SSH, L2/L3 concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Network Topology Management (NTM) accuracy and reliability.
• Build and optimize topology discovery and processing pipelines for L2 and L3 relationships.
• Debug topology defects and improve reconciliation and observability.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, network domain, SRE, and product teams.
• Build tooling and diagnostics for fast root-cause analysis in distributed systems.
• Support production readiness through testing, monitoring, and incident response.
