Job summary

Work Life Group is seeking a cloud platforms engineer for an enterprise environment near Brussels. You will manage Azure and AWS, handle identity and access management, and ensure on-premises AD federation remains highly available.

Responsibilities include deploying, optimizing cloud components, and automating with Terraform or similar tools. You will write Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts to support backups, scaling and routine jobs.

Qualifications

• Experience running enterprise Azure environments, IaaS and PaaS.
• Hands-on with Azure Monitor, virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks and load balancers.
• Strong hands-on identity and access management: Entra ID in the cloud, Active Directory on premises.
• Monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of enterprise directory products such as DirX.
• Excellent spoken and written English and a real knack for problem-solving.
• A plus: understanding of how the alliance is organised.

Responsibilities

• Administering enterprise cloud environments in Azure and AWS.
• Handling level 2 and 3 support for identity and cloud issues and resolving them quickly.
• Looking after Active Directory and web federation on premises, with high availability.
• Optimising cloud components and automating deployments with Terraform or similar tools.
• Writing Python, Bash or PowerShell scripts for backups, scaling and routine jobs.
