Zusammenfassung

EMW is seeking a Cloud Engineer for NATO CTAB to develop and maintain a multi-account cloud environment that supports cyber threat intelligence. You will partner with data scientists, engineers and researchers to implement scalable, secure cloud solutions using Terraform and AWS.

The role requires strong scripting, IaC, and collaboration skills, with periodic remote work and on-site presence at NATO HQ Brussels. Availability for NATO’s security posture and international coordination is essential.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in a quantitative discipline with substantial systems engineering content, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 2 years of specific cloud engineering experience or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with multi-account AWS environments and security best practices.
• Strong automation, scripting and IaC skills (Terraform, CI/CD).
• Ability to translate requirements for data scientists and engineers into scalable cloud solutions.

Aufgaben

• Ensure availability, confidentiality and integrity of CTAB’s cloud environment.
• Develop and maintain CTAB’s cloud platform and automation pipelines.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and researchers to implement cloud features.
• Document work and communicate progress to NATO Project Manager.
