Stegmann Belgium seeks an experienced HSSEQ Manager to drive quality, safety, and compliance across a complex, international logistics environment. You will lead process safety, food safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a bachelor or master in a related field, 5+ years in HSSEQ or food safety, and strong analytical, strategic yet hands-on capabilities. Dutch and English are essential, with French a plus. An attractive salary and international setting are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master degree in (bio-)engineering, food technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in HSSEQ, quality or food safety.
• Experience in a logistic, industrial or food environment is a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of quality and food safety standards and audit processes.
• Analytical mindset with risk assessment and mitigation capabilities.
• Strategic insight combined with pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Strong communication to persuade and guide multiple stakeholders.
• Fluent Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and optimize HSSEQ procedures and policies.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Carry out and follow up risk analyses with action plans.
• Advise management and operations teams on HSSEQ and compliance.
• Monitor national and international food safety and logistics regulations.
• Organize and deliver training on safety, quality and hygiene.
• Support internal and external audits and inspections.
• Report findings and improvement projects to management.
• Collaborate with auditors, certification bodies and inspection services.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across HSSEQ activities.
