MELEXIS in Ypres is looking for a Technical Lead for the night shift. The role involves managing a team of technical employees, ensuring optimal production performance, and combining technical expertise with coaching and coordination.

The ideal candidate has a Technical Bachelor’s degree, around 5 years of experience, leadership skills, and good knowledge of English and basic Dutch.

Overview

We are looking for a Technical Lead – Night Shift in Ypres. You are a technical team player with experience in a production environment and strong leadership skills. As a Technical Lead, you will manage a team of technical employees during the night shift and ensure that our production continues to run optimally. You combine technical expertise with coaching and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coaching a technical team (±8 people)
• Resolving and following up on technical issues and escalations
• Setting priorities and distributing technical tasks
• Collaborating with other departments to minimize downtime
• Actively participating in improvement projects and optimizations

Qualifications

• Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
• ±5 years of relevant technical experience
• Experience with coaching/leadership
• Strong analytical and hands-on mindset
• Good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of Dutch
• Good knowledge of MS Office / Google tools
