Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a software development professional to contribute to the Simcenter STAR-CCM+ meshing software. You will work on generating high-quality volume meshes, including tetrahedral and dualized tetrahedral meshes with boundary layer generation and Cartesian cut-cell meshing technologies.

The role involves MPI-based parallelization, mesh quality improvements, automated testing, and collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD or equivalent industry experience in engineering or CS.
• Experience developing surface/volume meshing algorithms.
• Experience with distributed-memory MPI.
• Strong C++ OO software development skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality meshing capabilities for STAR-CCM+ volume meshing.
• Design and implement meshing algorithms for tetrahedral, dualized tetrahedral and boundary layer generation.
• Develop distributed-memory parallel computing (MPI) solutions.
• Improve mesh quality and performance while ensuring reliability through automated tests.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to meet customer needs.
