Commonwealth War Graves Commission is seeking a horticulture assistant for a mobile role within reach of Coxyde. The position is permanent and full-time, with a salary of €31,000 per annum pro rata depending on skills and experience.

The role involves maintaining seasons plants, mowing greenspaces, pruning and garden upkeep. The CWGC offers leave, health support and development opportunities in a heritage-focused organisation.

Qualifications

• Keen interest in horticulture, nature and environment.
• Enthusiasm and motivation to learn valued above all.
• Willingness to adopt horticultural practices of CWGC.

Responsabilités

• Install and maintain seasonal plants.
• Mow, trim and fertilize greenspaces.
• Mulch, edge and weed gardens.
• Prune and trim trees and bushes.
• Maintain gardening equipment and machinery (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers).
• Monitor plant health and deal with pests.
• Keep gardens clear of debris and litter.
