Role Overview:

As Head of theDrafting Office, you will lead and coordinate a teamof technicaldraftsmen, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-qualitydesign plans forheavy steel structures. Acting as the main technicalcontact, you willliaise with internal teams and clients, ensuring thatall technicalspecifications are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the drafting team, managing workload and project timelines
• Oversee detailed designs and workshop drawings
• Provide technical solutions for complex design issues
• Conduct on-site steel structure surveys with the team
• Collaborate closely with production and project managers
• Represent the drafting office in client meetings

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 5+ years as a draftsman, ideally with leadership experience
• Strong skills in CAD (Tekla Structure, Inventor, AutoCAD)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Clear communication skills, with a valid Category B driver’s license
