Verhaert On-Site Consulting seeks a Technisch Tekenaar to support large-scale glass and façade projects in Oostende, Belgium. You will create detailed drawings and production-ready plans for manufacturing using AutoCAD 2D and related tools.

You will collaborate with project teams and site personnel, ensuring accuracy and clear communication of specifications. Dutch fluency is required; French is a plus. Long-term freelance assignment with onsite work and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Drafter, CAD Designer or Technical Drawing Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and related drafting tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Proactive, hands-on team player comfortable with contact by phone and email.

Join Verhaert On-Site Consulting as a Technisch Tekenaar and contribute to large-scale glass and façade projects in an industrial environment.

For an innovative Belgian company active in architectural glazing, glass balustrades and custom glass constructions, we are looking for a Technisch Tekenaar to strengthen the engineering team in Oostende.

Your Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings based on measurements and site surveys.
• Design aluminium profile and glass constructions in AutoCAD 2D.
• Prepare accurate production drawings for manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, production and site personnel.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding technical specifications and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings meet strict dimensional and quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience as a Technical Drafter, CAD Designer or Technical Drawing Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Knowledge of Inventor is a plus.
• Affinity with aluminium constructions, glass systems, metal bending, machining or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality.
• Proactive mindset and hands‑on attitude.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable interacting by phone and email.
• Team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues.
• Fluent in Dutch.
• French is a plus but not required.
• Able to work onsite in Oostende.
• Motivated junior candidates are encouraged to apply.
