vif Talent in Lokeren, Belgium (no home office) is recruiting a Head of the Drafting Office for a heavy steel structures specialist. You will lead a team of draftsmen, ensuring timely, accurate design plans and direct liaison with clients and production teams.

The role requires 5+ years as a draftsman with leadership experience, strong CAD skills (Tekla Structure, Inventor, AutoCAD), and proficiency in MS Office. A valid Category B license is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as a draftsman, ideally with leadership experience.
• Strong CAD skills: Tekla Structure, Inventor, AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Valid Category B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the drafting team to meet timelines.
