Job summary

Petersime nv, the world leader in incubators and hatchery technologies, invites a Hatchery Design Expert to join our growing international team in Belgium. You will lead hatchery concept and design, integrating biosecurity, hygiene and safety while optimizing performance and operating costs.

You will validate HVAC calculations, review drawings, support pre-sales and proposals, and ensure smooth handover to project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/electromechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in HVAC, building services or industrial installations.
• Ability to translate incomplete requirements into technical concepts.
• Experience with hatcheries, poultry or process-driven environments is a plus.
• Fluent English; Dutch or another language is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Hatchery concept and design including layout, equipment and rooms.
• Integrate biosecurity, hygiene and safety into the Petersime layout standard.
• Support pre-sales with technical input and proposals.
• Hand over to project execution and assist during complex projects.
• Develop standard design methods and share knowledge within the team.
