Job summary

Haerens Group, a fast-growing Belgian family business, seeks a Business Application Manager - Data/BI to lead data governance, warehouse operations, and reporting across the group. You will manage data integration, KPI design, and Power BI delivery for multiple entities in a collaborative, international environment.

You will shape the Data & Analytics strategy, work with Azure and Microsoft SQL technologies, and partner with stakeholders across sites in Ghent, Rijkevorsel, and abroad.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Data Warehouse management, BI, or Data Analytics.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Fluent in English with very good Dutch and French (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations and improvements of the Group Data Warehouse.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of the data warehouse.
• Coordinate data integration from multiple applications and sources.
• Design and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards at group and company level.
• Provide management insights through ad hoc analyses, KPI development, and trend identification.
• Promote data quality and coordinate improvements with stakeholders.
