Job summary

CONESSENCE in Belgium is seeking a Group Controller who acts as the right hand of the Group CFO, balancing transactional finance (30%) with project work (70%).

You will oversee monthly and yearly closings for Belgian entities, manage complex bookings including inventory and tax calculations, support internal and external audits, drive transfer pricing initiatives, develop financial queries, and lead ERP/finance projects across Europe while assisting international teams through occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Experience with monthly and annual closings for Belgian entities.
• Experience with complex bookings including inventory postings and tax calculations.
• Preparation and supervision of internal and external audits.
• Development and monitoring of transfer pricing.
• Writing queries and optimizing financial reporting.
• Implementation and improvement of financial systems and reporting tools.
• Supporting international ERP and finance projects across European locations.
• Assistance to foreign finance teams, including occasional international travel.

Als Group Controller vorm je de rechterhand van de Group CFO en combineer je transactionele finance (30%) met projectmatig werken (70%).

• Maand- en jaarafsluitingen van de Belgische vennootschappen.
• Het verwerken van complexe boekingen, waaronder voorraadboekingen en fiscale berekeningen.
• De voorbereiding en begeleiding van interne en externe audits.
• Het uitwerken en opvolgen van transfer pricing.
• Het schrijven van queries en het optimaliseren van financiële rapporteringen.
• Het implementeren en verbeteren van financiële systemen en rapporteringstools.
• Het begeleiden van internationale ERP- en financeprojecten binnen verschillende Europese vestigingen.
• Het ondersteunen van buitenlandse finance teams waar nodig, inclusief sporadische internationale verplaatsingen.
