ALTIA is hiring a Test Automation Engineer for an international project in Brussels with on-site presence up to 5 days per quarter and an initial onboarding period of 10 working days. The role focuses on designing, developing and monitoring test automation for web, API, and back-end systems, driving CI/CD and DevSecOps adoption.

The candidate should have a university degree, 7+ years in test automation including Java, and strong English (B2+), with experience in REST, CI/CD tools, and automation

Qualificações

• . University degree is required with EQF level 6+ and 7+ years IT experience.
• . English at least B2, written and spoken.
• . 7 years in test automation across mobile, web, API/back-end and quality engineering.
• . 7 years creating automated tests with Java.
• . 7 years CI/CD expertise and integrating automated tests (GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitrise, CircleCI).
• . 4 years automating REST APIs.
• . 5 years JS and Python for automation frameworks.
• . 2 years training in manual and automated testing.
• . 2 years experience with SoapUI integration testing.
• . 1 year UN/CEFACT FLUX experience.
• . 1 year work with public institutions.
• . ISTQB Foundation Level is required.
• . Design reusable automation frameworks and cross-browser/execution reporting.
• . Experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Protractor, Sikuli, Ranorex, REST Assured.
• . Database validation, desktop automation, multi-protocol testing, XML data prep.
• . Maven/Gradle/Ant; AWS; Jira and TFS.
• . Automated test generation with generative AI (with proper authorization).
• . Defect analysis and root-cause investigation.
• . CI/CD, shift-left, and automation architecture guidance.
• . Ability to coordinate with external stakeholders and produce technical docs.
